Wazi Film
Wazi film is a documentary I shot, directed and edited in conjunction with Agency Left. The project took us to the mountains of Africa, where we spent two months chronicling the lives of those infected with HIV/AIDS. We used HVX-200’s and incorporated an entirely digital workflow using P2 cards and Apple computers. I created custom scene files for the camera, used different frame rates, and stylized B-roll to achieve desired moods. Working closely with a translator we developed the story of our characters, giving insight into what life is really like for those living with the deadly virus. Learn more about the film wazifilm.com
